Smarter Business Bootcamp Review: How Self-Awareness & AI Can Supercharge Your Team

A Behind the Scenes Look at a Power-Packed Session with Yah Leng and Ken

What happens when personality science meets cutting edge tech? At the latest Smarter Business Bootcamp, we explored just that and left more self-aware and equipped for the future than ever.

Led by the ever-energetic Yah Leng and Ken, this wasn’t your typical corporate workshop. It was two hours packed with lightbulb moments, laughs, and practical insights. Here’s a snapshot of what made it so impactful.

Understanding Ourselves with MBTI

Session by Yah Leng

Ever wondered why some teammates love brainstorming in groups, while others prefer quiet, solo work? Yah Leng brought clarity to this with a deep (but fun!) dive into the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI).

She walked us through personality dimensions like Extraversion (E) vs. Introversion (I) and explained how each of the 16 MBTI personality types brings unique strengths to the table from decision making to communication and teamwork.

Through reflection exercises and open sharing, participants gained a deeper appreciation for different working styles and how to collaborate more effectively. Whether you’re more outwardly expressive or inwardly focused, every personality type plays a vital role.

💡 Main takeaway: Self-awareness fuels not only personal growth but also better team dynamics.

AI is Not Tomorrow’s Trend, It’s Today’s Tool

Session by Ken Leong, 361dc

Ken followed up with a hands-on session on how AI is already transforming work for professionals, especially in content creation, marketing, and productivity.

He introduced several AI powered tools that simplify and supercharge everyday tasks:

ChatGPT for writing blog posts, social captions, replies, and ideation
Canva AI with features like Magic Write and Magic Edit for design acceleration
Sora by ChatGPT for generating visuals from prompts
Perplexity AI to quickly research and summarize complex topics
Microsoft Copilot to streamline work in the MS Office suite

Ken also highlighted real world applications such as Starbucks’ Deep Brew, which enhances customer experience and staff scheduling using AI.

Participants saw live demos, explored prompts, and learned how even non-tech users can integrate these tools into their workflow. The message was clear: AI is for everyone.
